I did this road some years back, but when I was here last (3 yrs ago), the track was closed via a
locked gate on the other side of
Stone crossing.
Does anyone know if it is now open?
If so, how long does
Weipa to the Devt road via this track take these days?

I'm assuming your talking of the track just out of Musgrave, if so it was closed in July, we tried to go that way to
Normanton on our Cape trip, the manager at Musgrave Station told us it was closed for road works.
We ended up going to
Hann River Roadhouse and then turning of 10k past it at Palmerville Rd then
Kimba Rd going to the
Mitchell river coming out to the developement Rd at Marame.

You mean since the Irwin Family bought it for something like 6 million with a govt grant of 5 million.
I now see that they want to run cattle on their (Wilderness reserve).

Mike.
